“Why would [Bob Dylan] go for Jesus at a late time like this? … I don’t get the Jesus part.” Leonard Cohen

Bob perhaps went for Jesus because of how lost he felt he was. Despite the fact that he was enlightening (to) many o f the rest of us. My impression has always been that Leonard inherited and cultivated stronger roots in Judaism (the relatively non-messianic kind, at that). There is only so far a Jew of that kind (speaking as one) can stray. Or, put another way, a Jew with such roots can always, in the end, find his direction home.
Bob did not go Jesus, Jesus went for him, And when Jesus goes for you…what are you gonna do when your water turns into wine? Where are you gonna hide?
Ah, I clear forgot. “Jesus taken serious by the many. Jesus taken joyous by a few”.
Myself, I don’t drink wine. Pure, clean water is enough for me.
It’s nice that you’re called Angel, though.
